Our intention…

What we want more than anything right now is for the world to heal. And we believe that it will but only when we collectively as a human race do what is right to keep each other safe.

We have family members with pre-existing health conditions so the precautions we are taking are rooted in facts and advice from the CDC and the WHO but also driven by the love that we have for the people in our lives and everyone on the planet that is more susceptible to the virus. We also believe it is worth mentioning that have had to postpone our personal weddings and special events this year so please know that we absolutely understand how devastating it is to have to derail from your vision in any way, shape or form.

Rest assured that we will do everything we can to make your day feel as normal as possible while being incredibly safe and cautious for all. We are committed to continuing these extra efforts until we all get to other side of this together and when masks and social-distancing are no longer a priority. We’re grateful for this time because it has taught us to be tough and nibble to make quick, necessary changes to keep our clients safe and we will be grateful when this is behind us too.

What we’re doing for you…

Our kits and supplies have been revised, replaced and revamped to be in line with any and all guidelines that we have received from the health advisory boards that we’re following. The good news is that we were pretty buttoned up before this started so the changes we had to make were mild but necessary and we will continue to implement them after things return to normal too.

Some other COVID specific precautions we’re taking: -We will have a mask on at all times.
-Individual brushes will be used for every person. After a brush is used it will be removed from the area to be deep cleaned when we get home.
-Mascara and gloss products will be applied with disposable applicators.
-Work stations will be completely wiped down and sanitized in-between clients.  -We are all vaccinated.

What we’re asking you to do for us…

While we are confident in the vaccines ability to lower the risk of hospitalizations and death, breakthrough cases are still a thing and we all have someone in our lives that is more at-risk than most (young kids that are not eligible for the vaccine, family members with compromised immune systems, etc.) that we do not want to bring this virus home to. That being said, we are asking for your transparency about you and your parties vaccine status so that we can make an informed decision about whether it is safe to be in a room with an unmasked and unvaccinated group. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Also, as you’re planning where you’ll be doing your trial and getting ready on the day of, consider the amount of space that will be available and ask yourself the following questions:

Is it a house or a hotel? -If it is a hotel, will all of the stylists, photographers, family members and your wedding party be able to social-distance (not including the person in the chair, of course)? Depending on the size of the room that you’ll be getting ready in, we might secure a room nearby for just us to work in separately but this is on a case by case scenario. -If it’s a home, is there a separate area we could work in that could be for makeup only?

In both scenarios, we would work out a system where the amount of people in the room at one time is limited to a select few to keep everyone safe.If only 1 big room is available…

-Is there enough room for all the stylists, your bridal party, photographer and family members to spread out and be at least 6 feet away from each other? -If not, could the schedule that everyone is on be staggered to allow for more room to ensure everyone remains at a safe distance?

Bottom line - we are here for you and will do whatever is necessary to keep everyone safe. The above information speaks to an overarching theme of safety but we are here to answer any questions that you have and will happily be involved in the problem-solving of any situations that you come across involving your wedding glam sesh. xx.
